Fire Sprinkler ForemanWiginton Fire Systems is seeking experienced fire sprinkler foremen to lead and train teams in the installation of water-based fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, standpipes, and fire pumps.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Responsibilities:Lead and train the installation of fire protection systemsExecute fire sprinkler design plansManage materials delivered to job sitesUse hand and power tools, including cutting and threading pipeCollaborate with general contractors, other trades, and field supervisors to ensure smooth installationsMaintain accurate daily documentationOversee and mentor helpers and coachesRead and understand drawings and blueprintsTest piping systems for leaks and read gaugesClimb ladders and scaffolds, working at heights exceeding 40 feetAbout Us:Wiginton Fire Systems has been a leader in the fire protection industry for over 55 years, completing installations in more than 30 states. We value hard work and fun, with most of our employees having tenures of 10 years or more.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures, including NFPA StandardsPhysical stamina for laborious and strenuous work, including overtime up to 25 hours per week if necessaryMinimum of 4 years of fire sprinkler installation experience, preferably as a foremanExcellent communication, training, and planning skillsIntegrity, organizational ability, and enjoyment of independent and outdoor workValid driver's license meeting all Insurance Carrier requirementsCertified state/federally accredited Journeyman (preferred)Non-qualified applicants will not be contacted.
