Service TechnicianThe Service Technician is responsible for carrying out service operations for the marina. The Service Technician's primary responsibility is the customer, and the maintenance and service of their vessel. The Service Technician projects a professional company image through all types of interaction. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all mechanical and electrical problems on respective boat, motors, and trailers.Assist customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the operation of the unit and the work to be done or work already completed.Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisorAll other duties as assigned by managementMarine Service Technician Diploma or certification requiredKnowledge or related experience in the marine service industryExcellent customer service skills known as someone who goes above and beyondMust be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifty (50) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season.$26.00 - $40.00Suntex Marinas offers a Benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, supplemental life insurance options, and a 401K with employer match to eligible employees.
