PURPOSE:In partnership with market leadership and corporate colleagues, this role drives the evolution of retail training by designing and delivering innovative learning experiences that inspire performance across all brand KPIs. With a focus on fashion-forward thinking, data-driving insights, and best-in-class service standards, this role supports and elevates all field retail colleagues across the eastern United States and all of Canada.RESPONSIBILITIESCONTENT FACILITATIONIn partnership with the Americas training director, market and store partners, assess opportunity areas and craft strategy and implementation of all training activities in support of the global and regional training calendarExecutive presence - ability to facilitate large-scale (100+ people) format in-person trainings (conference style facilitation) and engage naturally with Americas senior leadership teamFacilitate TTT and large format training initiatives as neededPlan, create and deliver virtual trainings related to product styling, education, and competency development as needed under guidance of training director and market director(s)Coach and train sales teams through on-the-floor observation and partnership momentsEstablish training framework and strength in market by developing training points of contact throughout field for delivery and feedbackMeasure impact through selling KPIs, client feedback mechanisms (NPS, GEE) and evaluate for opportunity to drive greater impact via training or processesIMPACT:Partner with market director and store manager to assess the needs of the store to develop store and individual training strategies, particular concentration on impact of top doors in marketLeverages business / commercial acumen to report on effects of training and skill development needed for behavioural change via store visit recapsProvides programme feedback and solutions to corporate training teams regularlyEvaluates the effectiveness of training programmes, provide feedback and influence future programme design and delivery as neededLEADING, INFLUENCING AND DEVELOPING OTHERS:* Coach and give feedback to retail colleagues on education retention and performance* Provide objective feedback and coaching as needed to store leadership on KPI results and client advisor behaviours to influence and drive changeSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS5+ years of leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop teams, preferably in a luxury retail settingAbility to manage competing priorities and build clear strategies to meet business needsStrong verbal and written communication skills (planning, accountability)Interpersonal skills showing the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional business partners and senior leadership teamDemonstrates strength in presentation and facilitation skills, conveying messages in a clear and concise wayAbility to perform behavioural analysis and source creative solutions to drive behavioural changeProficiency in use microsoft (powerpoint) and mac devices80% travel required within market with some international travelMEASURES OF SUCCESSSeamless organisation and flawless execution of all retail training programmesAccurate collation of feedback and formal assessment reportsClear impact on business trends, leveraging data and insights to prove ROICompletion and absorption of relevant training materials across all storesEffectively meets project deadlines, works efficiently and cross-functionallyCONNECTING WITH OTHERSAmericas retail VP, director of trainingRetail senior leadership team - notably market director(s)Store leadership teams and colleaguesUk retail excellence teamRECRUITMENT INDICATORS:Excellent ms office experience: excel, word and powerpoint in particularPrevious experience leading and developing leaders and teamsPrevious experience working in luxury retail environmentReport writing experience advantageousExcellent communication skills - written and verbalSelf - management and accountability; ability to work autonomouslyRepresents the brand imageStrong planning and organisational skillsShows initiative and is self-motivatedTeam playerNatural problem solverRespects brand confidentiality • Hard working attitudeAttention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsProactiveExcellent organisational skillsResults drivenBEHAVIOURSProtect - works in line to support brand message and image in the fieldExplore - seeks and incorporates new and modern practices to drive resultsInspire - leads with heart and mind, connecting well with all colleagues in the businessStrategicAccountableProfessional in attitude and appearanceExpected base salary for the role will generally be between $130,000.00 and $160,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
