Job Summary Seeking a skilled ICU/PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract role in State College. This position offers both day (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) and night (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) 12-hour shifts, working 3 shifts per week, and involves delivering high-quality critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced environment. 2. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on patient condition Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and respond to life-threatening emergencies Maintain airway, ventilation, hemodynamic stability, and cardiac function Administer treatments and interventions per established critical care protocols Assist with procedures such as temporary pacemaker insertion and patient transport Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety and confidentiality 4. Required Experience Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or PCU nursing experience Experience managing critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting EPIC experience preferred (due to upcoming system transition) 5. Required Education Graduate of an accredited Nursing program 6.
