Mid Level Systems Engineer
Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery.
These individuals are thought leaders and experts in their area of expertise—hardware, electrical, systems, integration—who can derive requirements and specifications, perform tradeoff analysis, and contribute to technical documentation and deliverables. They’ll work across the broader team to ensure components and capabilities are delivered on time.
Performs all functional duties independently.
Clearance Requirement: Minimum Secret, TS, TS/SCI. Not Active within the last 2 years at Secret, TS or TS/SCI also accepted.
