If you're looking to advance your career in a supportive environment that values excellence, autonomy, and teamwork, we'd love to meet you.Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)Pay Range: $45.00-$55.00/hrStatus: Full-TimeCoverage Area: Coachella ValleyWhat You'll DoAs a Home Health PTA, you will play a key role in helping patients regain independence and achieve meaningful goals. Responsibilities include:Providing direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of careTreating patients to alleviate pain, restore function, and maximize mobilityGuiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer techniques, and muscle reeducationUtilizing physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, water therapy, electricity, ultrasound, and massageObserving and reporting changes in patient conditions to the Physical Therapist and clinical teamEducating patients on the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and orthotics/prostheticsCompleting accurate, timely clinical documentation and notesRequirementsActive California Physical Therapist Assistant LicenseCurrent CPR certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesValid driver's license and insured, reliable vehiclePrevious home health or hospice experience preferred (but not required)Why Join Bella Terra Home Health & Hospice of the Desert?Bella Terra is part of the Cornerstone Group, a nationwide network of 75+ home health and hospice agencies.
