Job description: The Kennebec Valley YMCA has an exciting part time opportunity for an individual who enjoys a fast paced kitchen environment cooking for a daycare center of 65-85 children. This is a part time position that offers a fun, fast paced work environment with the luxury of a long weekend each week! Position is Tuesday- Fridays 7:00am-1:30pm . Individual would be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack as well as the following duties: Cleaning kitchen daily, daily dishes, picking up weekly food orders each Monday, Menu creation, food inventory Candidate must be self motivated, pay close attention to details while cooking and mindful to allergies in the center, and avoid possible cross contamination. Ideal candidate would be someone with prior cooking/ kitchen experience looking for a part time opportunity!
