Read on for more details about this particular role.ResponsibilitiesThe Manager/Senior Manager of Organizational Communications is responsible for the development, execution and management of internal and executive communications strategies and programs, some of which are global, that directly impact associates and build an aligned workforce across the entire MSA organization.Specific responsibilities include overseeing communications across a variety of media, including but not limited to company notices, video tools, Town Hall Meetings, executive Webcasts, executive face-to-face meetings, speeches, etc. Accordingly, this individual will be responsible for developing internal communications plans and strategies, with emphasis on key message development, at both the corporate and geographic business segment level.Ownership and Management of MSA Connect, Including Content Strategy and QualityOversight of all internal communications, including MSA Connect (MSA Intranet) and announcements from MSA management.Identify best practices and processes and implement within departmentInternal Communications Program and Event ManagementOversight and communications management for various associate engagement programs and events, Town Hall meetings, manager/supervisor webcasts, and strategic projects.Partner with executive team and the HR Leadership to ensure delivery of accurate, consistent and effective messages to associates in all business segments.Drive Awareness and Understanding of MSA’s Corporate Strategy Across OrganizationDevelop communications plans and strategies that address organizational changeImplementation of internal programs the support and drive understanding of MSA’s Corporate Strategy Translate the business strategy into key messages, manage dissemination, and adjust as requiredSupport Departmental Writing NeedsSupport overall needs of department, including but not limited to, external communications activitiesDraft and develop press releases and other external content as needed, and as detailed by the Director of Global CommunicationsWork with Outside Consultants/Graphic Designers on Department NeedsPartner with outside agencies to develop communications that drive and enhance business results QualificationsRequired Experience:Manager: 7-10 years of experience. Senior Manager: 10-15 years of experience Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications; or equivalent required experience identified above.Preferred Experience:Ability to establish appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of ongoing internal communications efforts.Preferred Education:Master’s Degree in Communications
