Engineering Administrator

Defense Program/Engineering Administrator - Columbia, MD Pay: $33.00-$35.00/hr Position Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire Location: (Onsite) Columbia, MD What You’ll Do (Job Duties) Support day-to-day program management using Microsoft Project for scheduling, milestone tracking, and work breakdown structure development Assist with program planning, budgeting, and spend plan development Generate program work packages and define task responsibilities through Work Authorization Documents Monitor and report cost, schedule, and performance against baseline; conduct variance analysis and implement corrective action plans Gather, compile, and analyze financial, labor, material, and schedule data; maintain dashboard statistics and CDRL tracking Interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to support program execution What You Bring (Qualifications and Requirements) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, or a related field – or equivalent education and experience Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools Experience in program or project administration within a defense or government contracting environment Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work on‑site in Columbia, MD; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship Benefits Competitive weekly pay with weekly direct deposits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Optional 401(k) Advantage Technical is an equal opportunity employer.
