Responsibilities
Facilitate comprehensive learning modules that translate complex HVACR concepts into actionable skills for students.
Deliver hands-on technical demonstrations covering refrigeration systems, boilers, and residential or commercial climate control equipment.
Drive student success by providing personalized mentorship and guidance on technical projects and troubleshooting methodologies.
Maintain a high standard of safety and professional compliance within the lab environment to prepare students for real-world field work.
Collaborate with academic staff to refine curriculum materials, ensuring they reflect the latest advancements in heating, ventilation, and cooling technology.
Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking and technical problem-solving.
Required Skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of recent, hands-on experience in the HVACR trade.
Proven technical proficiency in refrigeration, mini-splits, and heating systems.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain technical processes clearly.
Commitment to fostering a patient and empathetic learning environment.
Preferred Skills
Current EPA 608 Universal certification.
Previous experience in a training, coaching, or leadership capacity.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
