This position is located at our Astria Toppenish Hospital in our Emergency Department.Shift: 12 Hour variable shifts.What you get to do every day!This position is responsible for assisting with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider, and general clinical duties. You will:Provides designated comfort measures and general hygiene for patients, including bathing, oral care, and linen change, provided in an appropriate and safe mannerContributes to the planning process by communication of appropriate information in a timely and accurate manner to the RNAccurately obtains/reports/documents vital signs (VS), intake & output (I&O), weights, and other patient data as assigned.Assist Physician/RN with procedures when neededTransports patients or items to or from different departments and accurately records patient items and/or information to be transferred.Performs other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.RequirementsHigh School Graduation or GED.Current WA State Nursing Assistant CertificationCurrent BLS certificationPreferred Qualifications and Education.Minimum six months' experience as a Nursing Assistant
