Occupational Therapist or Assistant - Home Health (Part-Time) OT/OTA

HTS is currently hiring either an Occupational Therapist or an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide care for home health patients residing in the counties of Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby. These patients are referrals from hospital, with a wide range of diagnoses from orthopedic to deconditioning. This is a part-time position, typically 15 hours per week, increasing or decreasing depending on caseload. Although the home health schedule is very flexible, weekday daytime availability is necessary. We need more consistent availability than for PRN. An Occupational Therapist in this position will complete evaluations, reassessments and discharges, as well as provide treatments. An Occupational Therapy Assistant in this position will provide treatments to these patients, who are generally treated twice each week. Part-time position at 10 – 20 hours per week. Requirements: Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
