Our commitment is to empower each individual to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to their communities.Part Time Social Media CoordinatorWe are hiring a part‑time Social Media Coordinator who can execute a structured, multi-platform advocacy campaign with clarity, consistency, and strong narrative instincts.This role requires someone who can manage content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics across Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate understands how to translate complex policy ideas into accessible, human-centered storytelling.ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & PublishingProduce and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and LinkedInCreate branded carousels, quote cards, stat graphics, and short-form videosDraft captions in a clear, dignity-centered voicePublish daily Instagram Stories and weekly campaign updatesSupport rapid-response posts tied to local news and policy developmentsCampaign ExecutionImplement a structured 12‑week campaign calendarCoordinate endorsement announcements and partner takeoversMaintain and update endorsement counters and milestone graphicsTag elected officials, journalists, and civic partners to increase visibilityEngagement & Community ManagementRespond to comments, DMs, and mentions with professionalism and empathyMonitor conversations and identify opportunities for amplificationSupport community storytelling and lived-experience contentAnalytics & ReportingTrack weekly metrics: reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, video performanceProvide short weekly summaries with insights and recommendationsMonitor endorsement conversion trends and flag opportunities to optimizeQualificationsExperience managing social media for a nonprofit, advocacy campaign, or mission-driven organizationStrong writing skills and the ability to simplify policy conceptsProficiency with Canva or Adobe Express; basic video editing skillsAbility to follow an established brand voice and visual systemHighly organized and reliable with strong attention to detailCommitment to dignity-centered, trauma-informed communicationPreferred:Familiarity with Portland’s homelessness, housing, or reentry landscapeExperience running multi-platform advocacy or political campaignsHow to ApplySend a resume and a brief note about why this role resonates with you to: info@oregonharborofhope.org
