Inventory Clerk - Assembly

Department: AssemblyReports To: Department SupervisorPosition Type: Onsite - Full-time [40 hours per week]Shift Days: Monday - FridayShift Hours: First 5:00 am - 1:30 pm , Second 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm (start time to be determined)Hourly Rate: $20 - $25 based on experiencePosition DescriptionMaintains the accurate and fully-stocked inventory of required parts and equipment needed for daily operations and production. Directs processing of shipping and receiving documents and ensures completion of required inspection of material upon receipt or prior to shipment; verifies material received or to be shipped matches materials listed on the purchase order or inventory sheet. Performs daily reconciliation of receiving / purchase documentation.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for receiving incoming products and materials, raw material and critical supply inventories, and processing all outbound shipments.Makes notification and/or delivery of the incoming product to the end-user.Ensures each receipt must have documentation (Packing Slip etc.) to support computer system entries.Requires completion of daily Receiving entries in the computer system.Receivers distributed to the purchasing office for filing.Requires that UPS/FedEx software is to be used effectively and understood for summary reporting on request.Oversees maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization, inventory cycle counting and reporting, monthly inventory accounting, and reorder quantity notification.Directs preparation of sequentially numbered paperwork in the Corporate accounting system; manages the packaging of material inventories, packaging of the product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.Tracks all orders, requisitions, and deliveries to ensure accurate processing of orders and delivery of materialWorks closely with the Assembly Department to ensure proper supplies arrived and are in compliance with purchase order specificationsMinimum QualificationsAble to read, write, comprehend and communicate in EnglishSpecific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications Etc.
