Role: Copilot Studio Lead DeveloperLocation: Foster City, CA/ Raleigh, NC)Duration: FTE/ContractKey ResponsibilitiesAI & Copilot DevelopmentDesign, build, and extend custom copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio PremiumIntegrate copilots with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services)Architect and implement prompt strategies, orchestration logic, and conversation flowsBuild reusable AI components that support scalability, governance, and reuseAzure & API IntegrationDevelop secure integrations using Azure APIs, Logic Apps, Functions, and REST servicesImplement authentication and authorization using Azure AD / Entra IDEnsure AI solutions comply with enterprise security, compliance, and data handling standardsPower Platform SolutionsBuild and extend solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectorsCollaborate with citizen developers while enforcing ALM, governance, and best practicesSupport automation and intelligent workflows across business platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SharePoint, SAP)Engineering & DeliveryParticipate in solution architecture, technical design reviews, and code standardsApply CI/CD and ALM best practices across Power Platform and Azure deploymentsTroubleshoot, optimize, and enhance performance of AI and automation solutionsDocument architectures, patterns, and operational guidance for long term sustainabilityCollaboration & EnablementPartner with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutionsSupport knowledge transfer and adoption of AI capabilities across teamsStay current on Microsoft AI, Copilot, and Power Platform roadmap advancementsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in software development or solution engineeringHands on experience with Microsoft Azure (APIs, Functions, Logic Apps, App Services)Experience building AI driven solutions using Azure OpenAI and/or Cognitive ServicesStrong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)Experience designing and integrating REST APIsSolid understanding of security, identity, and enterprise architecture principlesProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or PythonExperience working in enterprise or regulated environmentsPreferred / Nice To Have QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Copilot Studio PremiumFamiliarity with AI governance, responsible AI, and prompt engineering best practicesExperience implementing ALM for Power Platform (pipelines, solutions, environment strategy)Exposure to Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CDBackground supporting financial, IT, or operational systemsMicrosoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure, AI) a plusWhat Success Looks LikeScalable, secure copilots and AI components adopted across the organizationClean, reusable integrations between copilots, Azure services, and enterprise systemsStrong governance, documentation, and maintainability of AI solutionsTrusted technical partner to business and IT leadership on AI delivery
