Electronic Security Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and be proficient in various technical skills, including system design and installation. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our electronic systems, including fire alarms and alarm systems. The Electronics Technician will work closely with clients to provide high-quality service and support.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems, including fire alarms and security alarm systems.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to build and assemble electronic components.
- Conduct system design assessments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Telecommunicate with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide remote support as needed.
- Use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to test electrical systems and components.
- Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with team members on projects requiring locksmithing skills for secure installations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with remote access software for system diagnostics.
- Experience with power tools and safety protocols in an electronics environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Certification or training in electronics or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies and advancements in the field.
