This role blends hands-on, day-to-day execution with strategic planning to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of HR services delivered to employees. HR Shared Services supports the business with varying service needs, requiring flexibility, strong judgment, and a service-oriented approach. This is a functional, individual contributor role that is highly hands-on in nature.Responsibilities:Payroll (UKG and Workday)Manage end-to-end payroll operations in a hands-on capacity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliancePartner with internal business stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective flow of payrollManage end-to-end payroll operations in a hands-on capacity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complianced HRIS dataCollaborate with the outsourced payroll vendor to ensure accurate payroll data entry and issue resolutionPerform second-level audits of payroll, benefits, and HRIS transactions to ensure data integrity and complianceTroubleshoot and resolve payroll, tax, and system-related inquiries and discrepanciesRespond to, coordinate, and manage internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and HRIS processesHRIS (UKG)Optimize the effective use of HR systems and data management practices to support operational efficiency and decision-makingEnsure accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee data is maintained across all HR-related systemsImplement and oversee HR data governance practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all HR systemsDesign, develop, and maintain dashboard and standard reporting to support leadership and business needsServe as subject matter expert on HR reporting, analytics, and data interpretationManage system integrations between HRIS, payroll, benefits, and related platforms to ensure data accuracy and reliabilityRespond to and manage internal and external audits related to HR systems, data, and reportingCompensationPartner with the Executive Vice President, Human Resources to plan and manage the annual compensation review process, ensuring consistency, equity, and alignment with organizational strategyCoordinate and respond to annual compensation surveys, including accurate job matching and interpretation of market dataConduct annual benchmarking of positions to assess competitiveness and inform compensation decisionsEnsure salary ranges are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with market trends and internal equityServe as a key resource for leadership and employees by responding to compensation-related questions and providing guidance on pay practicesOtherDrive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging technology to streamline, standardize, and optimize HR processes and policiesCollaborate closely with HR team members and cross-functional partners to ensure coordination, alignment, and consistent delivery of HR servicesEnsure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of daily HR Shared Services operationsProvide guidance and support related to immigration processes, working in partnership with external providers as neededMonitor and manage service-related billing and expenses to ensure accuracy and cost effectivenessStay current on federal, state, and local laws and regulations impacting HR services and ensure ongoing complianceQualifications:5+ years of direct HR Operations experience, with a focus on HRIS, payroll, and compensationDemonstrated experience supporting payroll, HRIS, and compensation programs within a complex organizationStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and effectively troubleshoot issuesAdvanced Excel proficiency requiredProven ability to manage and resolve complex inquiries with persistence and sound judgmentExceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to responsiveness and accuracyAbility to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalismExperience with UKG (UltiPro) strongly preferredFlexProfessionals respects and seeks to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills, and experiences of its candidate network.
