We are looking for a engineer who can provide us One year Onsite Maintenance Support for Video Teleconferencing Setup, for Cisco, Polycom, etc. Job Description: Video Teleconference (VTC) Maintenance and Equipment Technician.Locations:1.WHASC, JBSA-Lackland AFB, TX: 7 VTC rooms + 1 auditorium with 4 VTC rooms.2. Post Graduate Dental Clinic, JBSA-Lackland AFB, TX: 1 VTC room.3. Reid Clinic, JBSA-Lackland AFB, TX: 1 VTC room.4. Randolph Clinic, JBSA-Randolph, TX: 2 VTC rooms.Duration: 1 YearPosition Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Video Teleconference (VTC) Maintenance and Equipment Availability Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance services for VTC equipment in 15 rooms across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of equipment uptime, supporting critical communication needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Maintenance:Provide preventive maintenance services, including firmware upgrades and equipment replacement, twice a year.Maintain a target of 98% equipment uptime across all VTC rooms.2. Preventive and On-Demand Maintenance:Align cameras, test microphones, and evaluate VTC capabilities to ensure optimal performance.Provide on-demand maintenance for equipment issues as they arise.3. Installation and Configuration:Assemble, mount, and configure VTC equipment as required for new installations.Ensure all equipment is set up for optimal performance and user accessibility.4. Support Services:Offer phone and field support during normal operating hours.Respond to major outages (complete equipment failure) on-site within 4 hours.Address minor outages (partial equipment failure) on-site within 1 day.5. Replacement Equipment:Provide temporary replacement equipment while repairs are ongoing to minimize downtime.Support the replacement and upgrade of outdated equipment by the end of FY 2024.Qualifications:Proven experience in VTC systems maintenance and troubleshooting.Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including cameras, microphones, and conferencing software.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Preferred Qualifications:Technical certifications in audio-visual systems or IT support.Familiarity with VTC systems used in healthcare or military settings.Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter detailing relevant experience and qualifications.Note: Please note that a separate sheet detailing the equipment has been attached.
