Your responsibilities will include:Analysis, Planning, and DesignPerforming landscape architectural analysis, design, and calculations.Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.May independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project.May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned landscape architectural and design/drafting personnel.Project DocumentationPrepare planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, illustrations, graphics, construction details, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Conduct field reviews and site analysis, documenting observations and conditions in detailed reports.Team CollaborationWork under the supervision of the Principal Landscape Architect and Senior Manager within the Tampa Urbanism Studio and Project Managers.Collaborate with teams of landscape architects, designers, and specialists, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.Coordinate technical and administrative activities with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, scientists, and technicians.Project ManagementManage smaller-sized projects independently or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers on larger, more complex initiatives.Plan and organize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and efficiency.Training and DevelopmentParticipate in the training and development of architectural and design/drafting personnel, fostering a culture of learning and growth.TravelDomestic travel may be required to support project needs and client engagements.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from a Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB)-accredited program or a related field, plus 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Valid U.S. Driver's License and the ability to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design, with a focus on Florida projects for both private and public sector clients, including municipal, county, state, and institutional agencies.Licensed Landscape Architect in Florida or must have the ability to obtain licensure within 9 months of start date.Experience in public and private projects, including:Site development and design, due diligence, compliance with regulatory criteriaTransportation (e.g., streetscapes, urban interchanges and roadways, multi-modal projects)Parks, trails, and open space designPlacemaking, visioning, and master planningProficiency in industry-standard software, including:AutoCAD, LandFX, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, 3D graphics tools, ArcView GIS, and CADD software.Familiarity with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects is a plus.Strong project management, time management, and task management skills.Understanding of quality control practices and compliance with company standards. xevrcycAbility to maintain regular office hours and participate in company functions.
