*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. *Responsibilities* * Collaborate daily to plan and execute daily Specials & catering events. * Prepare sandwiches, breakfast plates, salads, and hot food items according to recipes and/or menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. * Slice meats and cheeses using Deli slicer, fryer, or flat-top as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and equipment. * Assist in menu development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. * Monitor food inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. * Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. * Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety during cooking processes. *Qualifications* * ServeSafe or similar certification is a Plus. * 2+ year experience as a deli cook (preferred) * Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to prepare meals accordingly is a plus. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. * Able to multitask under pressure & knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene * Friendly and professional attitude * Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods * A passion for food preparation and creativity in developing new dishes.
