Start date: July 1, 2026 through August. Summer help will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Facilities to maintain school buildings and grounds in orderly, neat, safe and operable condition. Essential Job FunctionsPerform tasks to keep our school building orderly, neat, and clean performing duties such as clearing & disposing of trash, dusting furniture and fixtures, and related tasks.Checks and secures building at beginning and end of shift for the purpose of ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building.Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of building according to school district standards.Move furniture, equipment, and boxes for cleaning purposes.Sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors.Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds.Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.Cleans glass areas. Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to follow oral or written work orders from supervisor, and to coordinate work with others.Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form.Ability to report work to supervisor as required.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and others contacted in the course of work. Qualifications Profile Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
