In this role, you will ensure the smooth processing and obtaining of shipments, maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Order Processing: Wave orders, including breaking down labels, to ensure efficient shipment processing. Data Entry: Enter details into customer portals to acquire routing information accurately. Shipment Scheduling: Coordinate outbound shipments with customers, contractors, and internal logistics partners. Documentation: Provide precise load paperwork, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and Placards. Customer Service: Handle urgent customer queries promptly and professionally using company emails and Microsoft Teams. Compliance: Assist in maintaining updated customer requirements for shipping details and changes. Monitoring: Track the status of ongoing shipments and maintain productive communication with freight drivers. Communication: Keep receiving, production, inventory, and shipping supervisors informed about shipment status and product needs. Supply Chain Activities: Perform timely operative supply chain activities based on established procedures and best practices. Knowledge Development: Maintain and develop expertise in logistics principles and concepts. Safety and Compliance: Ensure personal performance meets set safety and compliance standards. About You:You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of logistics processes.Qualifications:Experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
