Human Resources Assistant Pay Rate: $20.78/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Overview The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, assisting with employee lifecycle processes, documentation, and data management. This role involves high-volume data entry and cross-referencing for approximately 1,500–2,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform high-volume data entry, cross-referencing, and record validation for employee data Assist with employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding and offboarding Follow up to ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately Provide information to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures Support I-9 verification using E-Verify system Assist with drug screenings, background checks, and compliance programs Maintain and update employment forms on the corporate intranet Support benefits administration and wellness programs as needed Process employment verification requests in accordance with company guidelines Maintain document control and HR records Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documentation Provide general administrative support to the HR department Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous administrative or HR experience preferred Strong data entry and organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage high-volume tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with HR processes and documentation is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion If you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing . 586-323-4194 | cyang@alinestaffing.com .
