Human Resources Business Partner
HRBP (Onsite- Texas City, Texas – Chemical Plant Environment)INEOS Acetyls is seeking an experienced HRBP to support our manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with site and functional leaders, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across employee relations, labor relations, and workforce execution in a union and non-union environment.This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable operations while minimizing people-related risk and strengthening overall organizational effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectivenessLead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, and performance managementSupport and administer labor relations activities, including grievance handling and interpretation of collective bargaining agreementsProvide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and risk-based decision makingPartner on recruiting, succession planning, and performance management processesEnsure compliance with safety, regulatory, and HR governance requirementsAnalyze workforce trends and support continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong employee relations experienceExperience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferredProfessional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferredSkills & ExperienceStrong employee and labor relations background, including grievance handlingWorking knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor lawExperience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to influence and coach leaders at all levels with a high level of discretionWhat Success Looks LikeEffective resolution of employee and labor relations mattersStrong compliance and audit readinessPositive labor relations environmentTrusted partnership with site leadershipContribution to workforce stability and operational continuity
