Job Description: Oversees the project from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manages schedules, budgets, resources, and risk assessments. Acts as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the project team. Required Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or ITIL Certification are highly advantageous. Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Proficient in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science. Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in IT or telecommunications projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Manage IT projects from conception to delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure that IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a collaborative work environment, setting clear goals, and holding staff accountable for meeting project objectives. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s objectives. Assess the effectiveness of technology resources and make recommendations for improvement or upgrades. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT systems and infrastructure to support enterprise goals. Ensure optimal performance and reliability of IT systems. Security Management: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of data. Oversee risk management processes related to IT security. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing service agreements to ensure they meet the needs of the organization. Technical Support: Ensure that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner. Oversee the IT support team to ensure high service standards. Reporting: Provide regular reports on IT performance, project status, and the realization of IT strategies to senior management. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in a setting that aligns with the organization’s industry. Proven track record of managing IT projects successfully and leading IT teams. Experience in strategic planning and execution, managing IT budgets, and IT risk management.
