Social Worker/School Psychologist to Support MyTime (EBD) Program

Position OverviewClark-Wilkins Elementary School is seeking a Licensed Social Worker or Certified School Psychologist for the Specialized Emotional Behavioral Program, My Time, serving students with social emotional, and/or behavioral disabilities in grades 1-4. The Social Worker/School Psychologist will work with a multidisciplinary team of a special educator, regular educators, board-certified behavior analyst, speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, and families to provide emotional and behavioral programming within the context of a public school. The social worker/school psychologist will partner with a special educator in leading the continued development of the specialized program in the implementation of evidence-based social emotional competency instruction, behavioral programming, trauma-informed practices, and crisis management.Duties And ResponsibilitiesRefinement and implementation of My Time program and individual program for social-emotional competence and behaviorDevelopment and monitoring of students' social-emotional and behavioral goalsDirect individual and group counselingCollaboration and consultation with a multidisciplinary team for social-emotional and behavioral programmingFamily and community liaison for wrap-around supports and services for students within the programSupport and development of professional development and coaching for paraprofessionals and other professional staff connected with the program Required QualificationsLicensed/Certified Mental Health Professional, such as a Licensed Social Worker or Certified School PsychologistNHED Certification (or able to be certified) for School Social Worker (0049) or School Psychologist (0046)Three or more years of experience working with schools, in school settings, or with school-age students in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
