Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical EngineerWe are adding a Mechanical Engineer II to our team in Lafayette, Indiana!Responsibilities+ Create engine models with 3D models for 5-10 projects.+ Document BOM changes to the engine.+ Communicate changes to the engine price list.+ Audit engines to ensure they are buildable and resolve any issues found.+ Manage validation material requirements, procure parts, and coordinate shipping to the field.Essential Skills+ Mechanical/Engine knowledge in engines, automative, or farm equipment+ Excellent and strong communication+ Mechcanical designAdditional Skills & Qualifications+ Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or similiar are of focus)+ Mechanical design experience+ Proficiency in CREO/3D CAD and Teamcenter Visualization (preferred by not required)+ Good communication skills+ Ability to work well in a collaborative teamWork EnvironmentThis position is onsite in Lafayette, with working hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lafayette, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
