Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Counselor based in Plano, TX, with the opportunity for partial work-from-home flexibility. The Counselor will work directly with clients, conducting individual, couples, and group counseling sessions. Key responsibilities include performing assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaboration with team members and ongoing commitment to professional development are essential to this role. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting individual, couples, and group counseling sessions with diverse populationsSkilled in performing client assessments and developing effective treatment plansStrong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to build trust with clientsExperience with documentation practices, clinical notes, and maintaining confidentiality under legal and ethical standardsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic hybrid environmentMaster’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldActive state license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in Texas or ability to obtain licensure before employmentFamiliarity with faith-based counseling or a willingness to integrate biblical principles with psychological approaches, if applicableCommitment to cultural sensitivity and promoting an inclusive counseling approach
