Advanced Engineering Technician - 1st Shift - Secret ClearanceLocation: Scottsdale, ArizonaType: ContractJob #86855Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Engineering Technician - 1st Shift (Secret Clearance) position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. To be considered, you will have an Associate's Degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience.Location: Scottsdale, AZPosition: Advanced Engineering Technician - 1 st Shift (Secret Clearance)Contract: 24 months with possibility of going directPay: $33.44/hourSchedule: 1 st Shift / OnsiteNOTE: MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE AT THE TIME OF HIREWorking with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments, the Advanced Engineering Technician will support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.Representative Duties and Tasks:Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematicsConstructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systemsConducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parametersImplements and documents complex solutions for process improvementDesigns and constructs basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasksOrganizes, analyzes and interprets data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvementQualifications:An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceSolid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication toolsAbility to fabricate complex hardwareSolid knowledge of generally accepted technical theoryAbout our client:Our client is a mission critical DOD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
