Job Description: Inpatient/Outpatient Internal Medicine PhysicianA coastal Melbourne, Florida internal medicine group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Inpatient/Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our reputable healthcare facility. As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population. We prioritize patient well-being and offer a fully electronic, transcription-free environment to ensure efficiency and accuracy in documentation.Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care to patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.- Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.- Monitor and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices, disease management, and lifestyle modifications.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our electronic medical records system.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.- Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and best practices to deliver evidence-based medicine.- Participate in on-call rotations, with a call responsibility of one in four.Qualifications:- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.- Fresh graduates from training programs are encouraged to apply.- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Internal Medicine.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to thrive in a high-volume but compassionate care practice environment.- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.- Must have a clean professional record without any malpractice.- Call is 1 in 4 shared.
