This is a full-time position with pay starting at $20+ an hour.In addition to great weekly pay, we offer the following benefits and perks:Performance pay increasesPaid vacation and sick time401(k) with a company matchTraining and advancement opportunitiesPaid holidaysPOSITION SUMMARY:The Concrete Laborer is responsible for supporting the concrete crews in completing various construction tasks. This position plays a key role in ensuring our projects are built on-time and ahead of schedule!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform general construction labor, including job site clean-upAssist in pouring concreteMove various construction materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanismsEngage in preparation work to ready worksite for other crew members (form setters, finishers, etc.) to perform defined tasksOperate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, etc.Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundingsPerform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelinesWork with the concrete crew on and around concrete forms assisting with concrete pour & finishWork with buckets and pump truck to place concreteClean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment and toolsLoad and unload materials, machinery, and toolsClean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazardsMeet production goals from the direction of the site Foreman or SuperintendentAdheres to all DCS Contracting safety policies, procedures, and instructions from managementPerforms other duties as required and assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GEDGeneral knowledgeable of OSHA standards and requirementsAble to work outside in all weather conditionsWillingness to learn and accept direction from field supervisionMust be a team player and be willing to help out wherever is needed for the success of the projectSafety first mindset, MUST stop work if something is unsafeReliable transportation and work schedule flexibilityAbility to get the job done with minimal supervisionMUST be reliable and dependableMust have reliable transportation to and from work shiftMust be able to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasksThis is a Safety Sensitive position.Must be willing and able to drive within a 60+ mile radius from DCS's office to and from assigned job site.Apply in person at our office or online!
