Senior Construction ManagerThe Senior Construction Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects supporting federal, energy infrastructure, and advanced facilities programs. This role oversees all phases of construction delivery including project planning, subcontractor coordination, schedule management, cost control, safety performance, and quality compliance.The Senior Construction Manager serves as a key leader within project teams, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal contracting requirements, project specifications, and company standards. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams, and the ability to successfully deliver projects in regulated environments such as federal, industrial, and energy infrastructure sectors.The position plays a critical role in ensuring project success by maintaining strong collaboration with clients, project stakeholders, internal leadership, and field teams while upholding Quanta Government Solutions' commitment to safety, operational excellence, and compliance.What You'll DoLead day-to-day construction operations for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, safety requirements, and quality standards.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to construction schedules.Oversee project cost management including budget tracking, forecasting, change order management, and earned value performance.Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, including applicable FAR/DFARS provisions, site safety standards, quality assurance programs, and regulatory requirements.Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across project sites by enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety meetings, and supporting incident prevention initiatives.Review project documentation including schedules, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and field reports to ensure compliance with project requirements and company procedures.Serve as the primary field interface with project stakeholders including project management teams, engineers, government representatives, subcontractors, and client leadership.Support project planning activities including constructability reviews, risk mitigation planning, and schedule development.Mentor junior construction managers, project engineers, and field personnel while fostering collaboration and professional development.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support project delivery and operational objectives.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 8+ years of construction management experience supporting large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.Working knowledge of project scheduling, construction planning, cost control, and construction contract administration.Experience working in federal contracting environments or projects with federal regulatory requirements preferred.Strong understanding of construction safety practices, OSHA requirements, and industry safety standards.Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Education and ExperienceExperience supporting federal construction projects or government facility programs.Experience working under FAR/DFARS contracting requirements.Experience supporting projects in energy infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, or industrial facilities.Familiarity with DOE, DOD, or other federal agency construction standards.Experience implementing project controls, scheduling tools, and earned value reporting.Licenses / CertificationsRequired Licenses / CertificationsOSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (or ability to obtain).Preferred Licenses / CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP)Certified Construction Manager (CCM)Professional Engineer (PE)Supervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership and coordination for construction supervisors, field engineers, subcontractors, and project support staff.
