Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner at VOLUSIA MEDICAL CENTER LLC, located in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The selected candidate will provide patient care, perform diagnostic assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs. Responsibilities will include managing patient health records, communicating with patients to answer questions or provide education, and collaborating with other medical staff to ensure quality care. The role also involves performing routine medical procedures, monitoring patient progress, and consulting with specialists as necessary. Qualifications Clinical skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planningKnowledge and proficiency in performing routine medical proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleaguesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team-oriented environmentActive and unrestricted state licensure as a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner in FloridaCurrent credentials, certifications, and DEA registrationPrevious clinical experience and understanding of electronic medical records systems are preferred
