Join us.Position: Senior Flight Test EngineerLocation: Eglin AFB, FLPosition Description: DZYNE Technologies is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the design, development, test and manufacturing of intelligent, autonomous vehicles. The candidate will work in a vehicle development and manufacturing environment where projects are realized with the highest degree of commitment to quality and efficiency.The successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter who has direct, hands-on experience planning and executing flight tests as well as leading flight test teams. The candidate must have solid technical abilities, able to quickly analyze technical difficulties, isolate problems to the component level, and promptly resolve the problem as necessary.Responsibilities:Provide technical oversight and leadership in integrating flight test objectives, equipment, and test assets, skills/resources, and planning T&E budgets and schedules.Interact with certification engineers to ensure all program's operational certification standards are achieved and addressed.Author test and safety plans for a variety of programs and customersAssist in standardizing flight test planning products, and act as a mentor for new flight test engineersAct as test director of test conductor for flight test eventsResearch, select, and source instrumentation components as part of a test system or unit under testDevelop and perform acceptance tests for a variety of productsDevelop test cards for applicable eventsDevelop data management and analysis plans for testing and ensure the test data are collected, stored, processed, and analyzed to inform future testing and product developmentAuthor test reports for daily events and final deliverables to internal and external customersFollow specific tool control, FOD control, and safety guidelines and policiesPerform other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, or employee(s)Required Skills/Qualifications:7+ years of relevant work related to flight test operationsMust have a strong technical background, ability to read and interpret engineering design artifacts, and customer requirementsSelf-driven and interfaces well with teams of varied disciplinesPreferred Skills/Qualifications:Graduate of an internationally recognized test pilot schoolExperience in US Armed ForcesExperience in aviation as a private pilot or remote pilot (Part 107)Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physical SciencesClearance Level Required: Secret - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance, as required for the role.Travel: Up to 25%Export Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.Working Conditions: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as general office environment or warehouse, to field testing environments.Work performed may be in a harsh climate. While performing the duties of this position, one may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert or other environments.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to work in a standard office environment, using computer and other office equipment.Capability to travel to field sites, including manufacturing facilities, test sites, or operational environments.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally for handling technical equipment or documentation.Work Authorization Requirement:Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Due to the requirements of the government contract associated with this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens.Salary: $120K - $160K AnnuallySalary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
