This position is responsible for renting, increasing the customer base, and growing the equipment rental business.
Position Scope & Responsibilities
Communication & Coordination: Provide regular updates to the Branch Manager, General Manager, and Executive Team regarding rental opportunities.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email, and other methods.
Revenue Generation: Produce incremental rental and sales revenue for Impact.
Market Forecasting: Report growth opportunities in existing and new equipment markets to the Branch Manager and General Manager.
Equipment Knowledge: Learn different equipment models, attachments, and applications.
Account Development: Open new rental accounts focusing on external rental growth.
Account Collections: Assist the Impact team with account collections.
Sales Drive: rive sales of new and used equipment to external customers.
Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by working and communicating timely and complete information with Impact staff.
CRM Maintenance: Record pertinent customer, jobsite, and related information into the rental CRM software.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures established by Impact or, if more stringent, by the job site General Contractor.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the company-provided truck in a clean, professional manner promoting corporate Impact branding.
Qualifications
College Degree preferred but not required.
Exceptional relationship-building skills are necessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking.
Sense of urgency with a desire to serve is essential.
Ability to promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of Impact Rentals.
Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to engage in conversation with various groups, including clients and vendors.
Must be able to travel frequently for meetings, presentations, and jobsite visits.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to move around the office, retrieve files, and operate office equipment.
Must be able to operate a computer and phone efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits
Sales Representatives are paid with a combination of base pay and on a commission basis, earning a profit share for each rental and competitive bonus structure. Base pay is $30-50k, with commissions making up $70-200k per year. Company vehicle is provided.
Training pay and upfront commissions are provided for a 2-3 month ramp-up period.
401k, medical and life insurance are available to Sales Representatives.
