This role involves handling bulk currency deposits, operating note-processing equipment, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with operational and security procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and traveling between locations as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and process bulk currency deposits for automated note processing.Prepare currency for processing by sorting, bundling, and detecting incorrect denominations.Operate Banknote Processing System (BPS) equipment for currency verification.Review rejected notes through Reconciling Station (RS) for quality, counterfeit, or fitness concerns.Prepare unfit currency for destruction through IDA (Independent Destroy All) process.Detect counterfeit notes and escalate findings per internal procedures.Record shortages, overages, and differences identified during processing.Move currency containers, pallets, and bags safely within warehouse environment.Maintain accurate records using internal systems, Excel, and Word.Follow all security, compliance, and safety regulations in a highly controlled environment.Required Qualifications1–5 years of experience in warehouse, operations, manufacturing, or related environment.Ability to lift currency bags, move pallets/containers, and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Excel / Word.Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure, and regulated environment.Willingness to travel between East Rutherford and Warren Township locations when required.Preferred QualificationsPrior cash handling experience.Experience in shipping, warehousing, packaging, or manufacturing.Background in regulated industries such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, food production, or consumer goods.Exposure to compliance-driven operational environments.
