We are looking for a dynamic Junior Analyst to join our Capital Markets Advisory Desk. Leveraged Finance is a product group responsible for the origination of new issue corporate debt across all sectors of JPMorgan's sub-investment grade client base. The platform syndicates a broad spectrum of transactions, including sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts, corporate acquisition financings, liability management exercises, restructuring/exit financings, and various other debt executions.As a Capital Markets Desk Analyst within the Leveraged Finance team, you will join a small group of professionals who provide unique connectivity between our investment banking and markets businesses. You will be an integral part of our Leveraged Finance team. Your work product will be relied upon by the most senior members of our business, and gets distributed to corporate clients, financial sponsors and senior leaders of J.P. Morgan. We are seeking highly motivated, professional, and collaborative individuals to join our close-knit team. You will have significant exposure to senior members of the Capital Markets Team, Leveraged Finance Origination, Syndicate, and Credit Sales & Trading.High performing individuals have historically had the opportunity to join the firm-wide investment banking analyst program in traditional leveraged finance analyst and restructuring analyst roles.Job Responsibilities:Aggregating and analyzing high yield and leveraged loan market dataCreating concise summary materials on market conditionsProviding support on live transactions and day-to-day activityRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and work ethicAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and high-energy environmentTeam-oriented attitudeIntellectual curiosityExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsCurrent students (Bachelor's or Master's) in their final year of study at a U.S. based college/university, or experienced individuals, with up to three years of professional work experienceStudents pursuing a Ph.D., MBA, and/or JD are ineligible for the programGraduation date between June 2023 and June 2026Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scaleJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
