Security Engineer (Senior)

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview): Spry Methods is on the search for a Security Engineer (Senior) to join our team in Huntsville, AL. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): Design, implement, and maintain security architectures and frameworks Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements): TS Clearance is required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security frameworks Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, antivirus software) Strong understanding of network protocols, web application security, and cloud security Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are preferred
