Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to assemble, install, and repair piping systems in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial piping systems, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems including water, steam, gas, air, and other industrial process systemsInterpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications accuratelyMeasure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power toolsInstall valves, hangers, supports, and other piping componentsPerform hydrostatic and pressure testing of piping systemsWeld, braze, or solder pipe systems as requiredInspect piping systems and components to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standardsTroubleshoot and repair piping systems and related equipmentMaintain a safe and organized work environmentQualifications Proven 5+ years’ experience as a Pipe Fitter in the shipyardAbility to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawingsExperience with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and installationKnowledge of welding and joining techniquesStrong measuring and layout skillsAbility to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditionsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferredMust be a US CitizenJob Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 Per hour” “$120 Perdiem” NON LOCAL ONLY $$$ “HIRE BONUS”$$$ Ameri-Force Benefits As part of the Ameri-Force team, a recognized ESOP company, you have a personal stake in the collective success of the organization, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
