Our team is committed to helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities in a supportive and collaborative environment.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy while delivering exceptional patient care.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients’ functional abilities, including activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and cognitive skillsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician ordersProvide therapeutic interventions to improve independence and safety in daily activitiesMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriateEducate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, adaptive strategies, and equipment useMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomesQualificationsDegree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)Strong clinical reasoning and communication skillsAbility to work independently and adapt to varying patient needsExperience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferredEmployment TypePer Diem: Flexible, as-needed schedulingThe starting hourly rate is $55.00 with adjustments made in accordance with the candidate’s experience levelWhy Join AVIR at Camp Wood?Flexible scheduling to fit your availabilitySupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to work with diverse patient populationsModern facility focused on high-quality care
