Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience as a commercial technician (foodservice, refrigeration, or HVAC) - Combination is ideal
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to50 poundsand maneuver heavier items as needed
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
Superb customer service skills and ability to work independently
Standard computer proficiency
Own industry-standard hand tools
Ability to travel extensively within the region
Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as part of on-call rotation
Well-groomed, professional appearance
Valid Social Security number
Preferred Background & Skills
Universal EPA certification
Experience with both kitchen equipment and HVAC/refrigeration systems
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Mechanical inclination and eagerness to learn new skills
Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle to restaurant sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose service issues, source replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications
Communicate repair status clearly with client staff and coordinate schedules
Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on industry technologies
Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
Maintain your service vehicle, tools, uniforms, and adhere to safety policies
