This role serves as a key member of the treatment team by fostering positive therapeutic relationships, supporting treatment goals through daily coaching and engagement, facilitating therapeutic activities, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. The Behavioral Health Coach helps bridge the gap between clinical treatment plans and real-world application while promoting personal growth, accountability, and recovery.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Build trust-based relationships with adolescent participants and provide consistent support throughout their treatment experienceReinforce treatment goals through daily coaching, engagement, and therapeutic interactionsLead and co-facilitate groups, recreational activities, and community meetingsUtilize de-escalation techniques and motivational interviewing strategies to support participant safety and engagementMonitor participant behavior and provide appropriate interventions when necessaryCollaborate closely with therapists, nursing staff, supervisors, and educational team membersAccurately document behavioral observations, interventions, and participant progress within the electronic medical record (EMR)Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environmentSupport participants in developing healthy coping skills, communication strategies, and personal accountabilityFollow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety protocolsPrerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in behavioral health, psychology, social services, or a related field preferredMinimum six (6) months of experience in behavioral health, youth services, education, counseling, or a related field preferredExperience working with adolescents preferred or willingness to complete adolescent-focused trainingCurrent Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtainMust be at least 21 years of ageAbility to successfully pass a criminal background checkCPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hireReliable transportation to the assigned facilityStrong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work the assigned schedule consistentlyIf you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered, please apply with your most updated Resume/CV.
