EST Technology Project Manager

Department: Electronics Solution Team (EST) Location: Lexington, Kentucky (Remote / On-Site Facility) FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of TechnologyPosition OverviewLG&P is seeking a goal-oriented problem solver with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude to join our LG&P US team. The primary role of the EST Technology Project Manager is to support the Director of Technology and the broader EST team in the development, manufacturing, and deployment of client projects. This position is perfectly suited for an individual who is detail-oriented, a great team player, and has experience working with small teams under tight timelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to raising the level of acceptable standards.Responsibilities and DutiesProject Management● Support the EST team in the development, manufacturing, and deployment of client projects● Assist with attending Project Kickoff Meetings (Goal: 50%)● Assist with creation of Wire Diagrams (Goal: 75%)● Assist with creation of Scope of Work documents (Goal: 50%)● Responsible for maintaining the LG&P part number database and all associated documentation (Goal: 100%)● Assist with New RFQs — including creation of RFQ documents, cost sheets, and submission (Goal: 50%)● Manage re-order, repair & maintenance projects, including sourcing and quoting● Ensure all project files are updated and maintained on the EST Google Drive● Ensure all project communication is conducted via Basecamp / Smartsheets● Assist with setting up and maintaining project folders in the EST drive● Participate in project meetings as neededPOC, Prototyping & Development● POC development and testing (works hand in hand with POC Manager)● Setup, test, and report performance of all prototypes● Replication of content / software updates for Re-Runs and R&M ProjectsA&F (Assembly and Fulfilment) Collaboration & Production● Own the relationship between EST and A&F● Assist A&F with creating jigs and line fixtures/elements to support production of EST components● Create final assembly plans in collaboration with A&F● Create quality control guides in collaboration with A&F, including iAuditor QC templates (in tandem with China team)● Provide oversight to A&F during production of EST components to ensure safety and compliance standards● Teach and train A&F Line Leads on installation, programming, setup, and handling of EST componentsOperations & Documentation● Work with Operations on all inbound EST inventory to ensure receipt in accordance with project SOW● Author Instruction Manuals● Communicate with appropriate US and overseas teams (note: early morning and/or evening calls may be required periodically due to global time differences)General Responsibilities● Support PM/AD team as needed● Provide overlap and support for co-workers as needed● Travel as needed (Goal: 30%)Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills● Minimum 4–6 years of experience working with electronics, preferably in the retail display/fixture industry● Advanced skills in electronics repair: hardware troubleshooting, soldering, cable repair, reading Gerber files, using a multimeter● Intermediate skills in working with low voltage and a basic understanding of low voltage circuits● Intermediate skills working with 120V (certified electrician with UL certification background recommended but not required)● Intermediate to advanced computer skills across Windows, Mac, Android, and Linux operating systems● Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)● Working knowledge of G-Suite / Google Drive (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail, Calendar)● Experience with networking and basic computer repair● Working knowledge of Basecamp or similar project management software● Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance testing for devices and systems to meet retail-readiness standardsPersonal Characteristics● Outgoing, self-starter, team player, critical thinker, detail-oriented, and curious● Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team● Good verbal and written communication skills● Ability to interact with senior-level management and, on occasion, clients● Ability to pivot and adapt when scope of work changes● Ability to work in a fast-paced production environmentPhysical Requirements● Able to lift up to 50 lbs● Able to be on feet for 4–6 hours per day● Able to work in confined or tight spaces● Basic soldering and wire management capabilities● Basic understanding of how electrical components function and connectRequirements● Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience● Education: College degree or equivalent work experience● Licenses/Certifications: N/A (electrician certification a plus)How to ApplyIf this description is an accurate representation of your skill set and experience, please send a cover letter and resume to: LG&P 610 Winters Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652 agrote@lginstore.com
