This role offers a blend of accounting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for a detail-oriented Project Accountant who enjoys working directly with operational teams.Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant Manage project billing cycles and partner with Project ManagersSet up and maintain project records in the accounting systemGenerate and analyze financial reports related to projectsSupport general accounting and cost tracking processesCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teamsEnsure accuracy and timeliness of project financial dataQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (flexible)3-5+ years of accounting experienceExperience in project accounting, general ledger, or public accountingStrong understanding of general and cost accounting principlesExperience in professional services environments (engineering, construction, architecture, law firm, or CPA firm preferred)Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a plusCompensation & Benefits Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 (flexible based on experience)Higher compensation potential for 6-7+ years of experienceDiscretionary bonus (typically up to ~$2K)3 weeks PTO (negotiable based on experience)50% 401(k) match up to 4% (expected to resume)Health benefits effective after 30 days100% paid gym membership (next door)Pet insurance + free parkingSchedule & Work Environment Compressed work week: Monday-Thursday: 9-hour daysFriday: 4-hour dayCore hours: M-Th: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PMFriday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PMHybrid schedule: 3 days in office (Wednesday required)2 days remote (including Fridays)~13 hours remote per weekWhy Join?
