Remote Coding Resident

A company is looking for a HIM Coder Resident. Key Responsibilities Receive hands-on training in coding and feedback on patient account coding Assign and sequence diagnosis and procedure codes following official coding guidelines Review work queue assignments and prioritize to meet revenue cycle goals Required Qualifications High School Diploma required Zero to one year of ICD-10 and/or CPT-4 hospital coding experience or relevant healthcare experience Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Ability to work independently as a remote employee Proficiency of 85% or greater on coding audit reviews must be maintained
