CABLE & HARNESS TECHNICIAN Our company is looking for a Cable and Harness Technicians to support our Gilbert Manufacturing Center. As a member of the Harness Manufacturing department, you'll get to embark on a career putting innovative, reliable, and agile products and ideas into orbit and beyond. This position will serve on-site at our Gilbert, AZ Campus. This is a 2nd Shift Position. Working Hours are 3:00pm – 12:30am on a 9/80 schedule. Responsibilities Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures hardware quality is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is completed with completeness and accuracy, in adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assigned tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring. Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD. Experience reading drawings and wiring diagrams.Exceptional mechanical/electrical aptitude. ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Graduate from Technical Trade School Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship. Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
