Role: Backend Java Developer with ReactLocation: Hybrid-Sunrise, FLRole OverviewWe are looking for a Backend Java Developer with React experience to build scalable backend services while contributing to modern, responsive front-end applications. This role is primarily backend-focused, with opportunities to work across the full stack using React. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring BootBuild and enhance microservices-based architectureDevelop and integrate frontend components using React.jsCollaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend/backend teams for seamless integrationWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practicesParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planningOptimize application performance, scalability, and securityTroubleshoot and resolve production issuesWork with databases for data modeling and query optimizationContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Required Skills & Experience4–8+ years of experience in Java backend developmentStrong proficiency in Java (8+)Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, HibernateSolid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architectureExperience with React.js (components, hooks, state management)Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)Experience with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)Familiarity with Git and version control workflowsUnderstanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)Experience with Redux / Context API for state managementKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Familiarity with Kafka / messaging systemsExperience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)Exposure to unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
