Job Title: Human Resources - GeneralistReports To: Human Resources DirectorManages: noneSummary/ObjectiveThe Human Resource Generalist is responsible for recruiting and hiring associates to fill open warehouse positions. Daily communication with associates to ensure policies are adhered to as well as administer disciplinary actions when required. Employee relations is a key component of the position.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Recruit and hire new personnel as required by the locationPromptly report employee complaints to HR DirectorInvestigate and review of all employee complaints with oversight as requestedManage and upload disciplinary actions and other documents as neededEngage and interact with ABW personnel on a daily basisProcess new hires and terminations in ADPManage accident/incident reviewsSupport the new hire and renewal training activities and respective site locationsMaintain HR reporting as requiredCommunicate and assess staffing needs to Staffing PartnersUpdate employee roster and other databases as neededQualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of applicable labor laws Proficient computer skills Web based recruiting tools Microsoft office SHRM certification preferredWork Environment Office-based Regular interaction with executives, sales teams, clients, and finance personnel May require occasional flexibility in hours to support executive needsPhysical DemandsThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
