As a vital member of our Child Placing Agency team, the CPA Intern should be service-oriented with a passion for helping others. Active listening, professionalism, and excellent communications skills are required for success in this role.The intern filling this position will be expected to assist CPA staff in the following areas:Makes regular home visits to assigned homesAssists in the process of recruiting and licensing new foster familiesAssists foster parents in accessing resources throughout the community to meet foster child needsPrepares monthly reports that document current behavior on each child in assigned homesFacilitates support meetings and other activities for foster families regularlyRequirements Of The Intern IncludeBachelor's degree in the Human Services field requiredMust be in good academic standing with the college or universityRequires a commitment of 15-20 hours per weekSome travel requiredValid driver's license with a good driving recordMust pass pre-employment background checks, drug screen and fingerprintingEOE
