Job Description SUMMARYThe Driller is expected to coordinate with Drilling Supervisor on all aspects of drilling. The Driller will assist on assuring that all work conforms to our quality standards, that client schedules are met, and that equipment is properly maintained. This is a full-time, non-exempted position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Follow Safety Manual Guidelines and work safely at all times2. Meet general job expectations:· Perform drilling· Complete required paperwork3. Show good teamwork efforts· Maintain equipment· Maintain drilling equipment inventory4. Mentor others· Perform as lead person on job site· Assist with training of drilling staff5. Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a harmonious atmosphere6. Support the team, the supervisor, and the company7. Perform other duties as assignedDESIRED OUTCOMES OR RESULTSAll drilling is performed safely in a manner consistent with the Company’s goals & standards. In addition to performing and knowledge of drilling activities, the driller will work closely with drilling supervisor and clients to troubleshoot as needed.EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS DESIRED· Valid Nevada Driver’s License· Unrestricted Class A CDL is required· Well license is required· Ability to work safely· Ability to operate a manual transmission· Good physical condition with the ability to pass a baseline physical exam· Minimum 2 years High School strongly preferred· Ability to study and learn Nevada rules and regulations for licensing· Meets skill requirements and experience on drilling rigs as determined by Program Manager· Communication skills and organizational skills· Mechanical skills· Works well with others· OSHA 40 hour, HAZWOPER, and MSHA Part 48B a plus
